Faciey is a face-recognition app. People add their own face and the links they publish; anyone who sees them can scan the face and reach all of it. Nobody is in it who did not put themselves there.
How it worksHow it works
Faciey detects every face in the picture you give it, turns each one into a mathematical faceprint, and compares that against the faceprints of people who signed up and switched discoverability on. Where it finds a match, it shows you that person's profile: their name, whether they are verified, and every link they publish.
It does not search the open internet, and it cannot tell you who a stranger is. If the person never joined, you get an honest no-result — and the option to be told the day they do.
When people use this
Every one of them is the same problem: you have the face and none of the words that would let you search for it.
A reel, a clip, a stream — you screenshot the frame and search the face.
You have the group photo and no idea which handle belonged to whom.
The person selling the thing is usually the person you actually wanted to follow.
An old picture, a name you never knew, and a person you would like to find again.
Three steps

Camera roll, screenshot or a frame you saved. Every face in it is found separately.

Crop to the person you mean when there are several — a tighter crop matches better.

Name, verified badge, bio and every account they chose to publish.
The limit, stated plainly
Faciey can only identify people who put their own face in and turned discoverability on. There is no scraped database, nobody is added without asking, and anyone can vanish from results in one tap. A tool that could identify strangers would be a different product, and not one worth building.
