How do I find someone from a video?
Open Faciey, pick the video from your gallery, drag the trim handles to the seconds the person appears in, and scan. The app pulls the distinct faces out of that range and matches each one against people who chose to be findable.
How long does a video scan take?
About twelve seconds for a ten-second range. Trimming matters: the app only reads the part you selected, so a two-minute video costs no more than the ten seconds you care about.
Does it work on a reel or a screen recording?
Yes. Anything in your gallery works — a reel you saved, a screen recording, footage someone sent you. Quality matters more than source: a face that is small or motion-blurred in every frame may not be readable.
What if the person is not on Faciey?
They come back as an unmatched face. Save the scan as a session and rescan it later — if they join, that old session finds them.
