Faciey is a face-recognition app. People add their own face and the links they publish; anyone who sees them can scan the face and reach all of it. Nobody is in it who did not put themselves there.

Why it beats a follow
You already have the opening line.
A cold follow is a stranger in a notification list. A connection here arrives with the event you were both at attached to it, which is the difference between being ignored and being answered.

The scans you both appear in, with dates. Proof rather than a claim.

How do I contact someone I found with a face scan?
Open their card and send a connection request. If they accept, you can chat inside Faciey — no phone number or email address changes hands.
Do they know how I found them?
Yes. Everyone is told when their face appears on a scan, and a connection request carries the scans you both appear in, so the context is on the screen before they reply.
Can someone refuse?
Of course. A request can be declined, and a person can be blocked — after which the conversation cannot be restarted.
Can I message someone without connecting?
No. The request is the consent step. What you can always do is open their profile and use whichever links they chose to publish.
