Request deletion of your data
You can delete your personal data from Faciey at any time. Use either route below — we confirm within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Everything held against your account, including the face data that made you findable:
- Your profile, display name, bio, and avatar
- All face scans and biometric embeddings you uploaded
- Discovery sessions, scan history, and match results
- All messages and conversations
- Connections, connection requests, and your profile links
- Notifications, device tokens, and activity logs
Option 1 — delete it in the app
The fastest route, and the one that needs nothing from us:
- 1. Open Faciey and go to your Profile tab
- 2. Tap the Settings icon in the top right
- 3. Select Account → Delete Account
- 4. Confirm deletion — your data is permanently removed within 30 days
Option 2 — email us
If you no longer have access to your account, email us from the address you registered with and we will process the deletion manually.
How long it takes
We confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete all deletion within 30 days. Some anonymised, aggregated statistics may be retained for legal compliance, but they cannot be linked back to you.
To start by email, write to kingsleyonyeneke@gmail.com from your registered address. Deleting your face data is free, on every plan, and does not require you to explain why.
