Faciey is a face-recognition app. People add their own face and the links they publish; anyone who sees them can scan the face and reach all of it. Nobody is in it who did not put themselves there.

Hiding beats paying.
Anyone can go invisible for a single scan or for all of them, and a Premium subscriber still sees nothing. That is not a policy we promise to follow — it is how the code resolves before a result is ever sent.

Do I know when someone finds me with a face search?
Yes, every time. A notification tells you your face appeared on a scan, how close the match was and when. It is not something you can be found without.
Can I see who scanned me?
Premium shows the photo that was used and the person who ran the scan. There is one exception: if that person chose to hide, nothing is revealed, and no plan overrides it.
How do I stop appearing in someone’s scan?
Hide from that single scan, or switch discoverability off entirely. Both take effect immediately, and both beat a paid subscription.
Can I be told when a specific person joins?
Yes. If you scan a face that is not on Faciey yet, we remember the faceprint of that search and tell you the day they verify their face.
